All shows in Austin, Los Angeles, Toronto and New York are now sold out. We added extra shows where we could, (that we will also be at!) but this is all we will be doing.


There are still tickets available for the screenings we will not be in attendance at, in San Francisco, Vancouver and Calgary. We hope you all have fun getting along while watching Get Along as a group!

Wow! Tickets have been selling so fast, we have been adding extra shows where possible.


We added a second screening in New York and we have also just added another 2 shows in Austin, on Sunday Nov 13, 4pm and 8pm. We will be holding Q+As at all of these extra screenings in markets that we are already attending (Austin, LA, Toronto and New York).


Unfortunately we will not be able to add a second show in Toronto.

Please remember, we will only be in attendance and holding a Q+A for the events in Austin, LA, Toronto and NY.

We have some big news for you today! Hopefully some of you will be as excited as we are. Some of you might be sad and for this we are sorry in advance! ha.


Sara and I wanted to do something special for the release of GET ALONG. After much discussion the idea of premiering the movies on big screens in theatres across North America came together! So during the release week of Get Along, all 3 films will be screening in 6 cities across North America!


We can’t be at all the screenings, but we will be in Austin, LA, Toronto and New York! We’ll be there with you to hang out and watch the movie, and we’ll also be holding Q+As afterwards! We’re sorry that we can’t be there in SF, Calgary and Vancouver too. But this new record won’t write itself! ha.

Hello!

Some exciting and last minute news for you guys! Sara is brushing off our dancing shoes as I type this because we will be joining our friend Morgan Page on October the 15th in Los Angeles to perform 2 songs we co-wrote with him for his forthcoming record, live on stage! Eeek! It will be the first time we perform the songs live with Morgan so we’re feeling VERY nervous AND excited. Although you may not know the songs yet we think you’ll like them very much!

See the video below of Sara performing a stripped down version of one of the tracks, Body Work, earlier this year in NY with Doveman. The version with Morgan will be much more upbeat and dance-y though! The show is at the Avalon, and we will be on late, probably around midnight! Come and dance!

2. Laminate it and punch a hole in it and wear it around your neck
3. Make photo copies and then use them as invitations to your next birthday party
4. Deface it and add to your ironic wall collage
5. Give it to someone you care about who also happens to like our band
6. Get it blown up jumbo size and cut the faces out and then have all of your friends come over and take pictures with their heads on our bodies
7. Regret it
8. Cut it in half and make a Sara book mark and a Tegan bookmark
9. Cut one of our faces out and then put it in a locket and then tell people, “Oh, it’s just an older lady musician that I find inspiring”
10. Send it? I think its a postcard. I can’t remember

The DVD is blips away from being DONE. FINALLY.


We are no longer on vacation and have been hitting the grindstone to get a new album of material ready for next year.

Hello out there!

Good tidings from Sara and I to each and every one of you! I hope you’re all safe and sound and surrendering to Fall with grace and optimism! And YES, Sara is thrilled to be back in flannel and snow pants.

This week we have an announcement that I am especially excited to share with you all! Nearly 3 years ago now we played a sweaty, fun filled show in Seattle with a local artist that went by the name Astronautalis. The show was anarchy, for many reasons, and by nights end we were in love.

We enlisted Astronautalis to tour Europe and the United Kingdom with us. Then on to Australia we sailed and soon it became obvious why we liked having him around. He’s good. He’s devoted. He’s passionate. He cares. And being around someone that’s all those things, makes you feel inspired to be even better than you’ve been up to that point. He’s also up for adventure and very funny which comes in handy in the middle of winter in Europe.

A great friendship was constructed over those months and soon we had Andy showering in an episode of Reflections for us. A true bond was sealed that night in … Denmark? He brought down the house in Berlin and spilled red wine all over my hotel room in Paris. It was a friendship for the ages (sorry I’m reading a lot of classic literature right now).

Okay. So, Astronautalis has been hard at work on a follow up to his last record (Pomegranate – amazing) and asked if I would be willing to sing on a track a few months ago (he actually asked both Sara and I but I was the only one near a microphone). I was wild with images of Andy and I encased in shrink wrap, our vocals together forever and said yes, please yes.
